Places To Visit Paignton Zoo - Spend a great day out at Paignton Zoo, With three thousand animals, five different habitats and acres of activities you are in for a great day. Just on the edge of Paignton on the Totnes road. (About 5 mins by car)
Babbacombe Model Village - Britain's largest and best kept Model Village, set in four acres of beautiful award winning gardens. With evening illuminations, animated models and you can even feed the Carp in the stream. Take time out from the hustle and bustle and visit this park you will be surprised.
Cockington - Historic Village Craft Centre and Country Park. 420 acres to walk in, with formal rose and organic gardens and children's play area. Home to some of the best craftsmen and women in Devon. Glass blower's, Blacksmith, Leather work and many more.
Bygones - Take a nostalgic journey back in time. This will bring back some memories for us older ones, but is still very interesting to the younger generation to see what life was like back then, (with no computer's, games consoles and mobile phones). Take a rest in their station cafe, or check out the gift shop.
Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway - Take a trip out on the Steam train to Dartmouth with a short cruise on the river Dart and then a bus ride back to Paignton, Very exciting trip with lots to see. They do many different trips by train or many coastal cruises, so sure to be some that suit you.
